Dear Stanton villagers

Thank you so much to everyone who gave so generously of their time, baking skills and money on Saturday. Thanks also to those who donated at the Pop-Up Bar on Friday and to those neighbours who were unable to come along on Saturday morning but still gave money and/or sent cakes in.

It was a delight to see so many people there and to spend time together. Not a crumb of cake was wasted !  The slides from the talk on Saturday are enclosed with links to the two organisations we presented. We’ll be dividing funds equally between the two.

UNICEF To Support Refugees At ‘Blue Dot’ Safe Spaces

We raised £641.50 at the weekend which, added to the collection last Sunday, makes an incredible total of 

£1141.50 !  This is astounding and says everything about our village: warm hearts and generosity of spirit.

This is a fantastic start and there is more to come.
