Parish Church – Lent Activities

We are now into Lent. The Pewsey deanery has, like last year, come up with some great activities that can prompt us into a bit of self-reflection.

There are films being held on selected Mondays in Pewsey Methodist Church – the first on 11/3 at 19:00 “Babette’s Feast”, the Oscar winning Danish drama set in the 19th Century. On Wednesdays at 19:30 Gerald Osborne is talking about St Mark’s Gospel.

There are talks by ex CEOs and retired judges and a puppet show in Savernake.

So have a look at the activities and see if there is anything that appeals to you: https://www.comeandyouwillsee.com/events

Church Service Changes

24 February
Church Service Changes

Unfortunately Deborah and Neil Larkey are no longer able to make the service on Sunday 24 February at 6:00pm, so it will no longer be a Taize service.

Instead we will have a short, lay-led evening compline service. This will be a time for us to reflect after the day’s busy-ness and ask the Lord to grant us a quiet night and a perfect end to the day.

Thanks

Robin
